Carly earned her Juris Doctor from the University of Tulsa College of Law in 2020. After law school, she joined Project Commutation, where she fought for sentencing reductions before the Pardon and Parole Board and advocated for individuals eligible for parole.

In 2022, Carly became a public defender with the Tulsa County Public Defender’s Office. Over the next three years, she provided dedicated legal counsel to indigent clients, employing a client-centered approach to ensure their voices were heard.
